Paddock Creek Improvements
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District

The project included approximately 220 feet of vertical wall concrete lined channel improvement to Paddock Creek. The new channel was 35 feet wide by 10 feet high. A transition was required at the north end of the project area, where the new vertical wall channel was doweled into the existing box culvert wingwalls at the south end of the box culvert under Lindbergh Boulevard.

AFRAM Corporation’s technical approach developed the design basis for the project. AFRAM Corporation put data, agreements and concepts into working drawings for construction. Prepared preliminary drawings, plans, profile and cross sections of proposed improvements. Compiled and analyzed all review comments, and discussed with the District. Note conflicts with exiting structures, land features and utilities. Conduct a field check of project site, checking land features and compatibility with the proposed project. Prepare project specifications, estimate quantities of work and prepare construction cost estimate.
